Today in Tucson: 'Portable Gem Testing'

Gem testing at the Tucson gem fairs is of importance. Throughout this session we will explore how to use various instruments effectively when ‘on the go’, starting with good observation, then using other tools such as spectroscopes, polariscopes and colour filters. We will look at a variety of gem materials throughout this session.

Hands-on session, limited to 24 places. Beginner–Intermediate.
