Gem Discovery Evenings

Whether you are a student in gemmology who wants more practical work, a gem and mineral enthusiast who would like the opportunity to handle other collections, or a Member of the jewellery trade who is keen on examining some of the new synthetic treated stones on the market, Gem Discovery Evenings are for you.

Gem Discovery Evenings are regular practical gemmology evenings for Gem-A Members and students, which give them the opportunity to investigate and explore a variety of gem materials. Gem Discovery Evenings  attendees can make use of our educational resources, work individually or in group projects and at their chosen level. There are no examinations.

Gem Discovery Evenings take place at Gem-A headquarters and are free for Gem-A Members, Gem-A  Students and Corporate Members. £5 for non members.

Specialist Evenings
