This intensive practical certificate course and examination is ideal for those who need a diamond practical qualification in a short amount of time. Identical to the practical section of the Gem-A Diamond Diploma examination, the Diamond Practical Certificate course fee includes the same diamond grading manual and instrument kit as provided in the Gem Diamond Diploma course.

The six day course is run at Gem-A London over two weeks on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and subsequent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by the examination on the Thursday. Course times are 10:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. No prior diamond experience is required.

Diamond Practical Certificate holders may attain the full Gem Diamond Diploma at a later date by studying the theory sections of the Gem Diamond Diploma course and qualifying in the theory section of the Gem Diamond Diploma examination.
